Angie celebrated her 29th birthday this past Friday and it was the perfect occasion to have her family for dinner at our place last night. We found we could fit 13 people into our downsized home and it didn't feel overly crowded. It was such a fun evening with lots of good conversation. We enjoyed hearing the details of the inauguration trip and how Thomas, Kristi, and Ben loved being part of history. They even brought souvenirs back for us...thanks!
Congratulations were in order for Jen, Greg, and Owen as they found out on Friday that their new baby will be a girl!!! And, it sure was fun watching Angie blow out 29 pink candles that Steve so masterly lit! Ben and Kelsey have a new place and we are so happy they are enjoying some of the furniture we needed taken off our hands. It's great to know it has a second life. Kelsey manages a coffee shop and one of the cosmic questions raised last night was...how much coffee is actually consumed in the Seattle metro area? It must be tons, as there are literally coffee shops on every corner.
The men left happy with leftover Christmas ham for their Super Bowl party today. We forgot to send it with Steve and Angie after Christmas and I froze it for later. I'm so pleased it will be enjoyed today.
Angie opened her gifts and Owen was the assistant gift opener. We were also happy to see Felix and Robee again to thank them for the fun museum day. Bob and I had such fun having the house filled with family...it really makes a house a home. Again, Happy Birthday, Angie, and here's to many more!
Happy Valentine's Day Party!

I told Eric that you were having everyone over for the birthday and he promptly said that he wants to move to Washington just to have a Bob and Kathi :) I love to read your blog and have enjoyed getting to know you better through it.
