A Budding Hawkeye/Huskie?

Ever since we found out that Steve and Angie were having a boy, there has been a friendly competition on which college team he will follow in a "FAN"antic sort of way. On the one hand there is the Hawkeye contingent with Evan's Dad, Grandpa Bob, Grandma Kathi, Uncle Greg, Uncle Peter, Aunt Anne, cousins, Hannah, Lizzie and all his honorary Iowa uncles (Jonas, Hannan, Scott, Mickey, Kevin, Andy, Dave...well, let's just say, all of Iowa City)! On the other hand there is the Huskie group, including his MOM (most important influence, I know) and honorary Aunt Beth and Aunt Courtney! I know it looks like we, "the Hawkeyes", have the numbers, but those lucky Huskies have the MOM!!!!

In all fairness, we did include both Hawkeye and Huskie stuff in his pre-birth Christmas presents. And, Aunt Beth has said that she would be a responsible Huskie and help show Evan the way. However, score one for the Hawks, as Evan did leave the hospital in a Hawkeye outfit. Wouldn't it be funny if Evan was an artistic sort of guy who just didn't like sports? Now, that would be something to write home about. So, I think the we'll continue with our friendly fun (We're gonna fight, fight, fight for Iowa) and see what the final score will be. Of course, there is the issue of the CUBS, but that's another whole story. Anyway, (sorry, Angie) GO HAWKS and huskies, too!
